• Do I need to be a 'serious' writer?+

  Not at all. Beginners, hobbyists, and seasoned drafters are all welcome. The only requirement is the willingness to put words down and read others' words generously.

• What genres do you cover?+

  Literary and commercial fiction, memoir, creative non-fiction, and poetry. Members write everything from short stories to novels in progress.

• How often do you meet?+

  Workshops run weekly. Critique groups meet fortnightly. Optional sprints and socials are scattered through the month — join the ones that suit your schedule.

• Is it online or in person?+

  Both. Live sessions are online so members from anywhere can join. Several local chapters also host in-person meet-ups in cafés and libraries.

• What does membership cost?+

  Monthly membership covers all workshops, critique groups, and the resource library. Drop the form on our contact page and we'll send the current rates.
